Electrical Engineering Internship

$18 - $22 USD per hour

Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing electrical engineering services on a range of projects across industries of healthcare, education, commercial, and industrial. Below are some additional responsibilities:

  • Design of electrical systems.
  • Coordinate design with a project manager, senior team members, and other design consultants.
  • Participate in QA/QC process for your work and the work of others.
  • Perform construction administration and field investigation tasks for assigned projects, including conducting field inspections and subsequent detailed inspection reports.
  • Research equipment selections, and complete equipment schedules.
  • Research design options and document findings for the project team.
  • Incorporate design concepts from Schematic Design into Design Development.
  • Work to produce Construction Documents.
  • Document existing conditions.
  • Lay out portions of the electrical systems for the project.
  • Leading the production of projects, including implementing sketches, and design concepts from others.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for staying at the forefront of technological advancements.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Candidate must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • AutoCAD or REVIT knowledge is a plus.
  • Understanding of applicable codes is a plus.
  • Understanding of building construction processes and systems is a plus.
