Carle BroMenn Medical Center needed to renovate and upgrade their existing operating rooms. However, the renovations could not be done all at one time, because the hospital could not afford complete downtime of their operating rooms. Additionally, the operating rooms needed to be brought up to code.
All operating rooms were brought up to current code require-ments, with a phasing schedule of two OR room renovations at one time. We incorporated the pre-purchased equipment into our designs, accommodating the specific boom ceiling systems’ needs. As a result, Carle BroMenn Medical Center now has eight, fully updated operating rooms, complete with upgraded boom ceiling systems, and spaces that meet the most current code requirements. These operating rooms were renovated without downtime, ensuring the hospital could continue serving its’ patients throughout the duration project.
