Expanding and Renovating a Hospital’s OB Wing

KED effectively communicated to coordinate with the renovation already underway. We provided a staff break room and a dedicated C-section room to better accommodate the growing needs of the hospital. We planned and phased the project so that there was no interruption to service, as the hospital always needed to have rooms available for expecting mothers, even throughout the renovation process. We renovated pre-existing patient rooms and converted them into new labor and delivery and postpartum-specific rooms to better meet the department’s needs. Additionally, we replaced the hospital-grade equipment within each of the rooms and the updated nurses’ station, resulting in more aesthetically pleasing and functional space.
