Designing a New Vehicle Maintenance and Storage Facility

Gallery

The Challenge

Livingston County needed a new vehicle maintenance storage facility to house and maintain the county’s vehicles. The new facility needed to connect to the county’s existing, on-campus utility services. The facility required a CO2 detection system due to interior vehicle exhaust, as well as a vehicle fueling station, and road salt storage.

KEDbluestone Solution

We designed systems that would accommodate the various needs of each space. In order for Livingston County to safely run vehicles indoors, we included a TOXALERT system in our design to detects and exhausts hazardous levels of CO2. As requested, we also designed a fueling station and a space for road salt storage. We extended and connected all systems to the existing utilities on campus. As a result, Livingston County now has an additional vehicle maintenance storage facility to better meet the needs of the county and to better service the surrounding areas.
