Modernizing a Hospital Lobby

The Challenge
The hospital’s lobby had become outdated and needed a cosmetic facelift, as well as updated fire protection, lighting, data, and power systems. The in-take area not only makes a first impression but is also crucial to the check-in process. As such, the in-take set-up also needed to be remodeled and rearranged, so that it could function more efficiently.

We not only improved the space cosmetically, but also in functionality and efficiency as well. We rearranged the in-take systems as needed, helping to meet the needs of hospital check-in procedures. We also designed customized lighting systems, specialized supple-mental heaters that allow for more individualized control, and brought new power distribution to the reception area. We updated the fire protection systems and data systems as well, modernized the lobby entirely. KED completely renovated the space, bringing a new life and functionality to the lobby area.
