Modernizing Sacred Heart Medical Center’s Linear Accelerator

A Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator was chosen, ensuring advanced technological features for state-of-the-art care. We drilled new pathways into the vault for conduits to accommodate the new machine. The hospital also opted for an IDENTIFY system add-on, which provides easy access to patient information, treatment details, and visual positioning guides and set-up assistance. This new system helped speed up appointments and instill confidence in patients and staff. Sacred Heart Medical Center now has a modernized LINAC, complete with an upgraded system, for top notch treatment.
