The Challenge
The existing Wilder-Waite Grade School had become increasingly difficult to support modern educational needs due to its age and outdated infrastructure. The building lacked air conditioning, had accessibility limitations, and experienced Wi Fi dead spots caused by its design. It also did not provide the collaborative spaces, meeting areas, and flexible learning environments needed to effectively serve students and staff.

As the MEP/T engineering firm for the project, KEDbluestone designed modern building systems that improve comfort, accessibility, and connectivity throughout the new facility. Our team developed solutions that support reliable technology infrastructure while creating spaces that better accommodate teaching, collaboration, and student activities. The new school will provide an enhanced learning environment with expanded music and physical education spaces and a more accessible cafeteria designed to meet the needs of future generations.
